That’s not entirely correct

And it’s not entirely wrong, either.

I was listening to a life coaching podcast exhorting it’s listeners to get rich in order to do good in the world. Some of the arguments were falacious. Most weren’t.

A large part of me wanted to dismiss all of it.

If I did that, I’d be missing out on some benefit. From this episode and others. Also, deconstructing the bits I disagreed with, and considering why the podcaster chose to include them, was helpful. And I noted that I’d have agreed with less in the past; even with different bits at different times.

A reminder that not everything has to land. At least not now.

You don’t have to be everything, to everyone, all the time, to make a difference.

Kindly, keep going.
