The most personal growth I’ve experienced has been in the relationship I enjoy now, which I’m very grateful for.
We frequently butt heads. We’ve disagreed on some fundamental things and still do. We’ll likely never see eye to eye about what happened when we tried running a business together.
But, because I’m open to being wrong (not always the first time around…), I’ve enjoyed different perspectives and changed my mind on things. Because sometimes I’ve still felt I’m right after being frank discussion and thought, I’ve learned how to better handle divergent views.
Through the clashes we’ve had, I’ve got a much clearer idea of who I am and what matters to me. And to my beloved.
I enjoy harmonious moments and wouldn’t grumble if there were more of them.
I need the challenge that strong relationships surface and withstand, nonetheless.
