Well, depending on how you define ‘fret’, there’s never a good time. But if you mean ‘trying to reach a decision’ then at some point you usually need to mull things over.
I’ve spent far too long today thinking about a decision which is heavily influenced by what’s going to happen over the course of the next week. Once I know what has happened, the decision will be much easier. Until then, I’m going through multiple scenarios and juggling many variables. After a bit too much paralysis it became obvious what to do.
Wait.
See what cards I’m given, then make a decision. The variables I’m putting together in lots of ways will fit together in only a few ways once I’ve seen the cards. I stacked the deck as best I could, now I have to wait. My brain can work on those things it can influence in the meantime.
No sense fretting.
