Building blocks

Dan wrote today about little steps. Seth writes regularly about the value of compounding.

The crux of my visualising the Sorites paradox will be to extrapolate from small building blocks. Drip by drip, the reservoir fills. Grain by grain the silos fill. It’s obvious, but sometimes hard to recognise what a difference we can make – even with the tiniest of building blocks.

A single stone block, or even a good number of them, might seem insignificant. With applied ingenuity you have Stonehenge. With still more you’re looking at the great pyramid.
