I read a listicle today – the UK’s top five regrets. Can’t say I shared those five, although I’m yet to retire so perhaps they’ll come in time.
What I found most interesting was how strongly some of the comments suggested the list was wrong. In those strong comments there wasn’t a recognition that these could be the top five; only indignation that they didn’t align with the commentator’s top five. I took this as a reminder of something I think many of lose sight of.
What’s true for you isn’t true in all cases.
