Fitness update

The news is, there is no news.

I expected to spend the second half of 2019 getting fitter, but I didn’t really. I did get healthier in mind and spirit, which is good as I didn’t realise how unwell I’d become.

Time to get healthy in body – not by pushing myself to do something I don’t like, but by indulging in exercise I really enjoy. This weekend I’m going to be in Scotland serving as pit crew for a friend who is in a 24 hour mountain bike race, so I get to spend time in adverse conditions among the hills. Perhaps perversely, I love that sort of thing. When I get back it’ll be for me to make sure I keep strapping my boots on and going outdoors.
