Go far, go together.

Al Gore may be the origin for this – I’m not sure if it was before or after he invented the internet. I believe the sentiment though, even if I’m not convinced of its provenance:

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Widely-attributed as ‘African Proverb’

Sometimes there’s a need to go fast; I’ll wager it’s not as often as we think. Whether moving fast or slow, alone or together, be grateful for those who make your journey sustainable. It might not be the relationships that those around you would expect, so take time to explore your heart and see what helps you keep going. Especially if it’s not obvious, they deserve recognition.

If you can, let them know.
