Today, not long after writing how I find negative visualisation difficult, I found myself in a funk like I haven’t had in a good while.
The long and short of it – I focused on what I feel I deserve, but don’t currently have. In doing so I lost sight of the many things that are better today than they have been recently, and that some short term financial stress will be overcome to achieve significant long term success.
Activity is what pulled me out of the funk. Drawing my mind away from painful rumination and re-connecting to where I am now. Instead of looking out the window wishing I were on a different path, I took in the view as it is and found much to be pleased with.
